Decided to take a stroll this evening taking pictures along a walk I normally do. This evening I managed to take some great landscapes shots and woodland photos.
The first picture is one that I have taken quite a few times throughout the year because it is always changing.
- A great tip for taking pictures of landscapes using reflections. The reflection of the trees in the water adds interest to the picture.
- Another tip is ‘leading line‘, the line of trees and the line of the river.

In Autumn it’s not just about the wonderful colours of trees. In woodland areas or fields you will find fungi. One trick that I have started doing is not taking pictures of them at my height looking down, but without using the viewfinder, placing the camera low down to the ground pointing it towards the mushroom and taking a picture on the ground. It makes for some great shots and I highly recommend it. I set my camera on automatic focus and you don’t have to have a expensive camera to get similar results.

Final picture is one I took when the sun was setting. I was patient and waited for a signet to get closer to me which really makes the shot.
Hope you enjoy my pictures and love to hear your comments.
